Vets Plus is Pleased to Announce Several Exciting Changes to Our Scientific Team

Dr. Ajay Srivastava, DVM, PhD, has been promoted to the new position of Chief Scientific Officer.  He has 20 years of experience in preclinical and clinical product development and nutraceutical research. He has published several research articles in peer-reviewed journals and has written textbook chapters on toxicology.  At Vets Plus, Dr. Ajay leads new product development initiatives, overseeing all preclinical and clinical trials and research.

We also have three new additions to our scientific team:

Dr. Abhijit Ray, PhD, has joined Vets Plus as Director of Pharmaceutical Research and Development.  Dr. Abhijit has 23 years’ experience in pharmaceutical research, clinical trials, targeted delivery system development, and most recently was Administrative Program Coordinator of the Cancer Immunotherapy Program at Huntsman Cancer Institute at University of Utah.  He is an expert in nanotechnology and has published over 40 articles and obtained 23 patents in his distinguished career.  Dr. Abhijit’s role at Vets Plus will focus on pharmaceutical ingredient development.

Dr. Jamil Talukder, DVM, PhD, has joined Vets Plus as Associate Director of New Product Development and Research.  Dr. Jamil is a highly accomplished nutraceutical researcher and has published over 50 articles and abstracts and earned many awards in his eminent career, including valedictorian of his DVM graduating class.  Dr. Jamil’s role at Vets Plus will focus on development of unique, innovative and proprietary nutraceutical product formulas for various disease conditions in companion animals as well as livestock.

Danielle Graham, CVT, has joined Vets Plus as Veterinary Research Associate.  Danielle has 9 years of experience as a certified veterinary technician in both companion and large animal practice, with a strong background in animal dentistry and surgery.  Most recently she served as Chair of Globe University’s Veterinary Technology program.  Danielle’s primary role at Vets Plus will be coordinating clinical trials, palatability, safety, and efficacy studies.
